I love to write and thrive in a creative environment. I have decided to pursue those interests with zeal. Hence, I have started a blog with the name Come On And Hire Me! Despite the exclamation point, it really is an invitation rather than a mandate. After all, ending the phrase Come On And Hire Me with a question mark just would not convey the mood I am after.
So, if you know of anyone looking for a copywriter, creative team member or PR practitioner, please email me and I'd love to talk with you.

Hi, Michael! Hey, I'm the first one to post - even though I don't have a job for you. I wish I did. You're quite brilliant.
So.... what happened. Did you employers finally find out what you were doing at your computer, behind your cubicle all day?
I know, me too. I swear, every time I log onto my blog, my boss walks out of his office. It's enough to make me paranoid. Say, maybe there will be a vacancy in my office soon. :-)
I would hire you in a second.
And I may need to employ you for my newest office 'task'....I will be sending you a REAL *work/office* related email later in the week.
There might even be $ involved.
good luck, Michael, in your quest to get hired for a new and more exciting job.
;-)
I would also like a new job. Well at least we are not competing with each other, since we live on two different coasts and all.
that was me - came out twice
Hey, maybe I should do this one, too... :P
I'd hire you - you're the best! :)
Good post.
I have been writing for 30 + years --yeh, I'm ancient. Now freelance and editing for private clients and a small publishing house. Are you joining writer's groups and offering to speak at their meetings, and edit? Word of mouth has gotten me many many jobs -- and magazine and newspaper articles.....You and I share the same interest profile - Bond movies and humor and then John Wayne == what a combo -- but it works...good luck...
have you tried using LinkedIn.com
